Starting with Windows 11 build 22621.1635, Microsoft added a new toggle control, “Get the latest updates as soon as they are available” on the Settings > Windows Update page.

This feature is disabled by default on managed devices.
Enable or disable “Get the latest updates as soon as they’re available”
As described above, Microsoft added a new toggle control, “Get the latest updates as soon as they are available” on the Settings > Windows Update page with the last Windows 11 build.
Here’s how to turn it on or off.
First, open the Windows Settings app.
You can do that by clicking on the Start menu and selecting Settings. Or press the keyboard shortcut (Windows key + I) to launch the Settings app.
When the Setting app opens, click the Windows Update button on the left.
On the right, select the “Get the latest updates as soon as they’re available” tile, and toggle the button to the On position to enable.
To disable it, toggle the button back to the Off position.
Close the Settings app when done.
Turn on or off “Get the latest updates as soon as they’re available via Windows Registry
Another way users can turn on or off the control options to get the latest updates as soon as they’re available in Windows is to use the Windows Registry Editor.
First, open the Windows Registry, and navigate to the folder key path below.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsUpdate\UX\Settings
If you don’t see the Settings folder key, right-click on the UX key, then create the subkey (Settings) folders.
Right-click the Settings folder key’s right pane and select New -> DWORD (32-bit) Value. Next, type a new key named IsContinuousInnovationOptedIn.
Double-click the new key item name (IsContinuousInnovationOptedIn) and make sure the Base option is Decimal, and then update the Value data:
- Type 1 to enable the control option.
- Type 0 to disable the control option.
Save your changes and restart your computer.
That should do it!
