How to Show or Hide the Sleep button in Windows 11

This article describes the steps one can take to add or remove the sleep button on the power options menu in Windows 11.

By default, most Windows computers will come with a sleep button on the power options menu. The sleep button lets you put your computer into a reduced power state while saving your desktop sessions.

When you resume, your PC starts up faster and gets to you back instantly from where you left off allowing you to continue your work without losing time.

Even though the sleep button is useful, if you don’t want your computer to go to sleep or accidentally click on the sleep button, you can remove it.
