Stop and Start the WSA process using the Task Manager
Alternatively, one can use the Task Manager app to end WSA processes. When you end or stop the WSA process, and reopen the app, new configuration changes will be reloaded.
First, open the Task Manager app.
When the Task Manager app opens, select the Processes tab. Then scroll down and select the “Windows Subsystem for the Android” process, and click End task.
You could also right-click on the WSA process and select End task.
Terminal WSA process using the Windows Settings app
Yet, another way to terminate or stop WSA processes is via the Windows Settings app. To do that, click on the Start menu and select Settings.
You can also use the keyboard shortcut (Windows key + I) to launch the Settings app.
When the Settings app opens, click the Apps button on the left.
On the right, click on Apps & features or Installed apps tile to expand.
On the Apps --> Installed app, locate the Windows Subsystem for Android app, then select more options (3 dots), and click Advanced options.
On the Advanced options settings pane for WSA, click the Terminate button to end all WSA processes.
Reopen the WSA app and reload new configuration changes or resolve issues.
