Here’s how to change the size of text, images, and apps in Windows 11.
Windows 11 has a centralized location for majority of its settings. From system configurations to creating new users and updating Windows, all can be done from its System Settings pane.
To get to System Settings, you can use the Windows key + i shortcut or click on Start ==> Settings as shown in the image below:
Alternatively, you can use the search box on the taskbar and search for Settings. Then select to open it.
Windows Settings pane should look similar to the image below. In Windows Settings, click Accessibility, select Text size on the right pane of your screen shown in the image below.
On the Text size adjustments pane use the slider from left to right to increase the size of text on Windows screen. Under preview, the size of words will change as you adjust the slider.
Changes you make here will apply to most of the text on your device.
Below is a previous of the size of text when increased 167%. To apply your changes, click the Apply button to the right or the slider.
Changes are apply instantly to many of the text in Windows as you can see below.
How to decrease size of text in Windows 11
To decrease the size of text in Windows, reverse the steps above.
To go Start ==> Settings ==> System ==> Accessibility ==> Text size and move the slider to the left. Move it far to the left and set the default text size.
The click apply to save your changes.
